1. Definitions
“We”, “us” and “the studio” refer to Yondex Auto Refinish Ltd (Company No. 14672839). “You” refers to the individual or organisation commissioning work. “The vehicle” refers to the specific car or motorcycle that is the subject of a project.
2. Quotations
Written quotations are valid for 28 days from the date of issue. Quotations describe the scope, materials and target turnaround we have agreed at inspection. Where additional remedial work becomes necessary during a project — typically hidden corrosion, prior accident damage or substrate issues — we will pause the project and discuss revised pricing before continuing. We do not begin chargeable extras without written consent.
3. Booking and deposit
A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking slot. The deposit is fully refundable up to seven days before the booked drop-off date and is otherwise applied against the final invoice.
4. Project timeline
Target turnaround dates are stated in writing for every booking. We use commercially reasonable efforts to meet them, but we will not rush preparation or paint work to do so. Where a project is delayed by hidden substrate work, we will agree a revised timeline at the point the issue is found.
5. Materials
We use only OEM-approved paint systems (Glasurit, Spies Hecker, Standox) and equivalent-grade ancillary materials. Where you request a specific paint code or product, we will use it provided it meets our internal quality threshold; otherwise we will discuss alternatives.
6. Vehicle storage
The studio is staffed during published opening hours and secured outside them. Customer vehicles are stored under cover at all times during a project. We carry combined insurance covering accidental damage and storage; details are available on request.
7. Payment
The balance of the agreed price is due on collection. We accept bank transfer, debit card and major credit cards. Vehicles will not be released until payment has cleared.
8. Warranty
Full-body and colour-change projects carry our written lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, for as long as the original commissioning client owns the vehicle. Partial work and accessory services carry a 24-month warranty on the same basis. The warranty does not cover damage from use, accident, chemical contamination or third-party intervention.
9. Liability
Our liability for any single project is limited to the value of the project itself, except where the law expressly states otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
10. Cancellation by you
You may cancel a booking up to seven days before drop-off for a full deposit refund. Within seven days, the deposit is retained to cover materials already ordered.
11. Cancellation by us
We may decline or cancel a booking if, on inspection, we believe we cannot deliver the agreed quality within the agreed timeline. In this case the deposit is refunded in full.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
