Privacy policy

Effective from 1 January 2025. This document explains how Yondex Auto Refinish Ltd handles personal information that you choose to share with us.

Who we are

This site is operated by Yondex Auto Refinish Ltd (Company No. 14672839), with its registered studio at Unit 14, Beresford Industrial Estate, 88 Bermondsey Road, London SE13 7PJ. References in this policy to “we”, “us” or “our” are to Yondex Auto Refinish Ltd. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website and through our day-to-day operations.

What information we collect

We only collect information that you actively share with us. The categories below cover everything we typically hold:

  • Enquiry information. Your name, email address, mobile number and the details of your enquiry, submitted via our contact form, by email or by telephone.
  • Project information. Where you become a client, we keep records of the work carried out on your vehicle, paint codes, batch numbers and photographs taken at the studio.
  • Technical information. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, requested URL, referring page) used to keep the site secure and to diagnose problems.

How we use it

Personal information is used to respond to your enquiry, to deliver work that you have commissioned, to issue and honour warranty documentation, and to keep the legal and accounting records required of a UK limited company. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third-party marketing companies.

Lawful basis

We rely on three lawful bases under UK GDPR: consent for enquiry data submitted via our website, contract for work we carry out for clients, and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data that does not lead to a booking is held for up to twelve months. Project records are held for the lifetime of the warranty plus an additional six years to satisfy UK accounting law.

Cookies

This site uses a small number of essential cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See our cookie policy for the full breakdown.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port or object to our processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected].

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We will publish any changes to this policy on this page and update the effective date above.
