Prep is paid time
We never rush the preparation stage to bring a project in early. If a job needs another half-day of flatting, that is a half-day it gets — at the price we agreed.
Yondex was founded in 2014 by three bodyshop foremen tired of watching big chains rush respray work. We have stayed deliberately small — eleven years on, the floor still runs the way we set it up.

Three of us — Tom, Adrian and Marek — had been running paint floors at large body repair chains for the best part of two decades. The frustration was always the same: insurance work paying by the panel, no time for prep, no time for the job to be done quietly.
So in 2014 we leased a single bay in Bermondsey, took over the booth from the previous tenant, and started taking on private work only. Eleven years later we still hand over every car we paint personally.

Each car is assigned to a single lead technician from inspection through hand-back. That same person photographs progress and signs off the final QC.
If a panel is better left alone, we say so. If a colour cannot be matched within tolerance, we say so. We would rather lose the booking than lose the trust.
You receive a folder at hand-back: products used, batch numbers, paint codes, before-and-after photographs and the signed warranty.
We use Glasurit, Spies Hecker and Standox systems — full stop. Every layer, every panel. No cheaper solvent-borne shortcuts to bring a price down.
For full-body projects we issue a warranty for as long as you own the car. Defects from our work or our products are repaired free of charge at our studio.
Air-conditioned, fully extracted, with a controlled bake cycle for every paint layer.
Spectrophotometer-led colour matching, archived paint codes for every project, and full COSHH compliance.
Dedicated bay for alloy refinishing — strip, etch, prime and respray without affecting other vehicles on the floor.
For PPF wraps, post-respray polishing, and final QC under colour-corrected lighting.

Saturday mornings tend to be the calmest. We will walk you around the booth, the mixing room and whatever projects are on the floor that day.
